I became a therapist because I believe in the sacredness of being truly seen and heard.
Healing doesn't erase the past.
It changes our relationship to it.

My interest in healing has always extended beyond individual systems.

I have long been curious about the larger forces that influence our lives: family, culture, identity, community, and the systems we move through.

That curiosity eventually led me back in the classroom to pursue my Ph.D. in Sociology.
